Well I’m been training one to two times a week now. Last time I sparred I rolled over my left ankle and heard to pops, Still to this day it is still alittle tender and it has been a week and a half. I can’t wait to get back to sparring. Hopefully this wendsday. I have been doing weightlifting to now. So I run and weight lift then do my MMA training. I know I am exhausted by the time I’m done with the weight training but that is because I am out of shape for this. It won’t be long before I am in shape and ready to fight. I have a great group of guys surrounding me and helping me improve on my game. Things should go good.
Well I am getting back into training. I am going to Wreckroom Athletics and training in MMA. I have a little background in Muay Thai. They are working with me on my ground game since my stand up in ok. It’s not great but ok. I forgot how much it sucks in the begining. The way your body feels the nexted day when you go to the max working out. It feels great but very sore. I am also still working a full time job with Trugreen and running my online fighting equipment store www.cagecombatsports.com . So far I haven’t been able to go and train for 2 weeks due to my full time job, it has been very busy working atleast 65hrs a week. But it is showing signs of slowing down and I am looking forward to going atleast twice a week to get my butt kicked. I will provide updates on how it is going. I am thinking about a fight in late fall early winter but we will see. Thanks for reading and please post other articles if you are a member and if your not a member please register and post. Hey everyone. This is the first of many blogs to come your way. I am the owner of Cage Combat Sports, LLC. A company that specializes in fighting equipment. We are not like most companies and just sell you what ever, but our products are of the best made quality. If you are not sure on what you want, we will personally guide you through all options, helping you step by step in getting you the equipment best suited for you, based on your needs. I also have gotten into sponsoring fighters, fight teams, and gyms. If you are new and looking for help, please contact me smann@cagecombatsports.com
The fight team that we sponsor is Team PitBull out of Iowa. They are a tough group that fights whoever/whenever. The leader Cory “Pitbull” Vincent is the team leader and also the champion at 205 pounds, he is followed by little brother and powerhouse Zack “Chaos” Vincent.
We also sponsor Dillion Clendennin out of Michigan. He is a great amateur fighter with a now 2-0 record fighting with the XCC. He just fought last night March 27 and won by rear naked choke in the 2nd round. I was there and have to say that it was one of the best fights of the night. I know this kid is going to go far. He has the fighters heart and spirit.
More will come about these guys as news comes in.
I will in the future be blogging more about me and the Cage Combat Team. Thanks for reading and if you want to register please do so and blog about what ever you want. Thanks again for reading.
